Martin is reading the Harry Potter books to Maya and Jamie at the minute. He has read them all to Maya already ( and shes also read them all herself as well) but now its Jamies turn ( and Maya likes to listen as well! You can't have too much Harry Potter apparently!)Anyway since reading them Jamie has been desperate for a wand, and rather than buying a rubbish bit of plastic from the shop we decide to make some.
And here they are , two magic wands made from Applewood from the garden .Planed and whittled by Jamie ( with some help) sanded and with a phoenix feather inside( inserted into a little hole that they drilled!) Maybe they will be painted and maybe they won't. I rather like them as they are!
They are wonderful!
